Missions Outreach Team
This active group meets monthly on the first Sunday at 11:15 a.m. to discuss new mission projects for LNPC, supporting projects locally, nationally and globally. To get involved with any of these great missions, or if you have a project you would like to champion, call the church office at 949-249-1218 and leave a message for the Missions Team.
Local Missions
Family Assistance Ministries – LNPC hosts a weekly food distribution every Thursday between 11 and 1 for families to receive needed groceries and supplies.
Military Support –LNPC supports semi-annual outreach efforts to local active military personnel and families through the Camp Pendleton YMCA.
Easter Baskets – Holiday Easter baskets are assembled by LNPC members to share with the preschoolers of the military personnel.
Angels Flying – Christmas gifts for Camp Pendleton Marines and their families.
Friendship Shelter – preparing monthly sack lunches for residents and donating needed household items.
Gilchrist House – helping women and their children in a transitional living home in San Clemente.
South County Outreach – Our church provides monthly donations of nonperishable food to SCO for individuals and families in need. Additionally, we put together special holiday food baskets.
School Support – This outreach provides school support to San Juan Elementary School and Hidden Hills Elementary School prior to the start of each new school year.
Weekly Homeless Dinner Program – LNPC joins with other local churches to provide weekly meals and other assistance to homeless individuals in our area through the Hands of Grace outreach.

National Missions
Home Aid Housing – LNPC partners with HomeAid whose mission in to end homelessness by building homes and development projects, providing HomeAid CareKits to persons living on the street and advocating to raise awareness of their plight.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance – Missions continues to use your contributions to support different outreaches for disaster assistance – with the majority of our 2019 contributions going to help those in need as a result of the California wildfires. Funds were also sent earlier this year to assist those affected by Hurricane Dorian.
Missions Abroad
Uganda SSUBI Foundation Causes – LNPC supports the SSUBI Foundation in providing badly needed medical and dental services in rural Uganda.
One Great Hour of Sharing & Christmas Joy Offerings – OGHS funds national and international efforts to improve the quality of life through disaster relief, education and self-development of people. The Christmas Joy Offering helps to provide financial support for retired pastors.
World Vision – Our Children’s Ministry supports a child named Hasani Kazungu Baya who loves to play soccer and hear Bible stories! His parents struggle to provide basic family needs while his community, like many others in Kenya, has been severely affected by the HIV and AIDS crisis. Through World Vision support, our LNPC children have helped Hasani with nutrition, much needed health care ang going to school, showing God’s unconditional love in action.
Siempre Para Los Ninos – LNPC’s Youth Ministry annually takes a mission trip to this Children’s Orphanage south of Tijuana, Mexico, joined by other church members. They raise needed funds to support this mission trip through activities during the year. Ongoing donations of new clothes, personal Spanish Bibles and general funding are also provided by LNPC members.
