Laguna Niguel Presbyterian Church
May 19th – 21st, 2017
LNPC is headed off to camp! This is a weekend for the entire church family. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of family fun at Lazy W Ranch just miles away from Laguna Niguel. Confidential scholarships available. Contact John Denton or Debbie Gara for more information. You won’t want to miss this. See you there!
What is Family Camp?
Will it be fun?
At camp there will be plenty of time for fun activities including:
- Greased Lightning (1950’s Theme Dinner)
- Sock Hop
- Organized Games
Plus many other fun adventures.
What about food?
Five meals will be provided for us at camp. Dinner on the night of arrival, three meals Saturday, and one meal Sunday. Eating camp food is half the fun of camp! You are welcome to bring snacks as well.
What about Church on Sunday?
One of the best parts about camp is having the chance to be out in Gods creation. What a better place to have our Sunday morning service than in the outdoor amphitheater? Over the course of camp we will also have group sessions and devotionals, plus lots of camp songs.
What do I pack?
Bring your best wilderness gear for two nights in the mountains. Layers will be key. A warm jacket, sweater, jeans, shorts, and tee shirt will make for great items. Don’t forget toiletries and a towel, there are showers on site. You will need a sleeping bag and pillow. Plus clothes for 1950’s theme dinner Saturday night.
What does it cost?
- Adults $150
- Kids $125
- Family of four $500
- Day camper $50 (includes breakfast, lunch, theme dinner, sock hop and a tee shirt)
A message from Campers
“Family Camp at Lazy W Ranch was a memorable and enjoyable experience for the Malone family. We enjoyed all of it, from the company of our cabin-mates (the Carters), archery, campfire songs, crafts and games, the beautiful hike up to the cross, and the amazing talent show! So much talent at LNPC, and so fun to see so many people shine! We’re looking forward to doing it again next year!” -Mike, Stacy & Sydney Malone
“Family Camp was exactly what it says it is. We were God’s people gathered together as a family, Great Grands down to wee babies. We prayed together, ate together, sang together, played together as a big family at camp Lazy W. It was a wonderful time just being together sharing and caring.” -Claire Burrill
