Children’s Ministry

If you are hoping to nurture a love of God in your children and to give them a strong moral compass, you’ve come to the right place. Our goal is for children to connect with Christ as they hear about the love of Jesus and the Word of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sunday School

Sunday mornings for Children at LNPC begins in the sanctuary for 10 AM worship. Children will be invited forward for a special message brought by Rev. Debbie Gara or a member of our Children’s Ministry team. Children then exit with their Sunday School teacher for Sunday School.

Sunday morning Sunday school is staffed with loving, caring and screened teachers, providing age appropriate Christian lessons each week. incorporating consistent routines and rituals with our children. Our classrooms have a worship center with a candle, cross, open Bible and offering collection supporting our adopted child in Africa. Each week children will be reminded of the presence of God’s light, practice prayer, the reading of scripture, and learn Bible basics. The lesson of the day will then be incorporated and emphasized through activities and craft.

Our curriculum, “The Whole People of God” is full of creative ideas and resources to walk with children as they learn the Christian faith and scripture in developmentally appropriate ways.

  • Preschool & Kindergarten meet in the Sunshine Room on the first floor.
  • 1st-5th Grades meet in classroom #204 on the 2nd floor.

Once a month we have “First Sunday” worship, a family friendly service designed for children of all ages. Children 1st grade and older are invited to stay in worship, with Sunday School offered for Pre-K and younger.
